"Education is the kindling of a flame, not the filling of a vessel" - Socrates.

As well as being a freelance photographer, I own and run the East Midlands area of a company called Going Digital, which is the leading company in the UK specialising in photography workshops. The teaching and the doing go hand in hand for me, so when I teach I'm speaking from experience!

Workshops are a day long affair; they normally run from 10am through until 4pm and are held at various stunning locations across the East Midlands including Clumber Park, Hardwick Hall, Wollaton Park and Whisby Nature Reserve near Lincoln. You can choose from beginners, advanced, portraiture, landscape, macro and composition sessions as well as a Bird of Prey day where we have our very own falconer and you can learn to photograph owls, hawks and falcons, both in portrait shots and in flight.

I also run photo walks that last from two to four hours including deer rutting walks on Wollaton Park, evening Christmas photo walks in Nottingham city centre and wildlife photo walks at Clumber Park.

One to one sessions are also available so you can have me to yourself for the whole day and can learn at your own pace.  The day is tailored specifically to your requirements and if you'd like to, you can also bring along a friend for free.

To see what workshops we offer or to find out more details, you can look at our website www.goingdigital.co.uk or if you'd rather have a little chat, you can give me a call on 0776 233 6222.
